Therapeutic massage is a general term that describes any type of massage modality that helps to relieve pain, reduce stress and work on a specific problem. I use a combination of relaxation, myofacial release, neuromuscular therapy, and passive stretching techniques depending on the client and their personal needs and concerns.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for relieving chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Cupping and/or gua sha may also be added to increase therapeutic benefits. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication is important during the session.
Pregnancy Massage
